Poor Customer Service and Lack of Accountability My first experience at this cannabis store seemed promising. I clearly communicated to the employee that I was in search of 1g vape cartridges. However, my satisfaction quickly turned to disappointment when I got home and discovered that one of the cartridges was actually 1.2g, making it incompatible with my vape. When I went to return the item, the "manager" refused to issue a refund, claiming that refunds are only possible for defective items. She offered no solutions for the mistake and seemed uninterested in helping me resolve the issue. When I asked to escalate the matter to the owner, she took my contact details but made it clear that she was too busy to address my concerns, especially when a new customer entered the store. She simply tossed my contact information aside and moved on, making me feel utterly dismissed. What struck me the most was the complete lack of respect shown by the manager. At one point, she even retorted, "I'm not going to do this right now with you" when, at the time, I was the only one in the store. Now I'm out $50 for a product I can't use, and the level of customer service I received was incredibly poor. I've never felt so disrespected and swindled by a company before, especially one in the cannabis sector, where customer service should be a priority. Edit/Update: A couple of days after my disappointing experience, I spoke with Aaron, one of the owners of Lux. Aaron went above and beyond to address my concerns. He listened attentively, expressed understanding, and assured me that his team would be informed and corrective actions would be taken. He even offered various solutions and invited me to give the store another try. Admittedly hesitant, I decided to revisit the store the following day—and I'm incredibly glad that I did. The experience was like night and day compared to my last visit. The on-duty manager, who was already briefed on my situation, greeted me as soon as I walked in. Her approach was the epitome of professionalism, something that had been sorely lacking during my previous encounter. Not only was she aware of the issue, but she also took immediate steps to resolve it. She was apologetic for the inconvenience I had experienced and took the time to carefully walk me through the various product options that would suit my needs. It was evident that she was well-trained, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to customer satisfaction. Her demeanor and the way she handled the situation restored my faith in Lux. It's worth noting that it wasn't just her words but also her actions that made a difference. She ensured that I left the store with a product that was exactly what I had initially sought, validating that customer feedback is taken seriously at Lux. In summary, my latest experience was a complete turnaround, all thanks to a manager who knew how to properly handle a dissatisfied customer. While my initial impression of Lux was less than favorable, the proactive steps taken by both the owner and the second manager have convinced me to give the store another chance.

I love coming here so much. When I walk in the vibes are exactly perfect, all the staff are so friendly and helpful. Lately I’ve noticed many dispensaries around Calgary have been lacking on third customer service, but never lux leaf. I especially love Kaelyn she is so much fun, so helpful, and makes me feel so welcome all the time. I solely go to lux leaf for any of my much needed relaxation.
Come here knowing I’ll be treated well every time, every staff has been so kind and patient. Sometimes after a hard day I don’t wanna be around mean budtenders so lux is always a safe spot. Recently Kaelyn was kind enough to made some suggestions and gave me a wonderful conversation. Thank you guys!

This has become my favourite smoke shop since the day I've walked in. Each person I speak with at this location always has such a positive demeanor and they make you feel so welcomed. They remember their regulars and provide great recommendations each time! Kaelyn has been such a joy each time I've walked into this location. She provides a personal experience and welcomes me with such warmth each time. I've genuinely appreciated every interaction with her, and her awesome recommendations have opened my mind to different brands and strains. Praise is also another favorite of mine at this location - where her down to earth nature and good vibes bring me joy when making my earthy purchases. Kaitlyn and Kody have also always been welcoming and respectful!! I appreciate each and every experience I have here! For a smoke shop, I never thought I'd receive such amazing customer service and memorable interactions with each person here. Also.. great deals, the prices and amazing associates have switched us from other competitors in the area.
This location has some of the freindliest people working in customer service. Every time I have visited this location, it's either Kaitlyn, Kodi, Kaelyn, or Praise working, and they are all super friendly and helpful! I highly recommend this location!
